We have our annual A Week in the Country reading and writing retreat with Michael Cunningham coming up in May. As part of this week, we’re delighted to be hosting special guest Head of Substack International, Farrah Storr. We met Farrah last year on a lively summer’s evening at La Gonette and it was like we’d always known her. A brilliant human.
As part of this week with our group of 12 attendees, we are hosting an In Conversation event between Farrah and Alice Nelson discussing all thingsthe future of writing.The conversation will touch on where we’re at now as the traditional publishing model continues to shift; writing on different platforms; and how the ‘literary salon’ might evolve.
